Sumotech
Sumotech is a distant, contemporary off spring of traditional Sumowax and, like many of our styling products, a hybrid. It's not a wax, not a paste and not a creme, but in some ways all of them. In any case, it quickly became an all-time favorite with both men and women: our Wall Street clients love its 'memory' - they can look buttoned-down and groomed by day, and then funk it up with a flick of the wrist at night. One of our Business Consultants with afro-textured curls swears she can blow-dry her hair sleek and wavy with it and it'll last all week (another miracle of modern technology).

Why: Form, lightweight structure, texture, flexible hold, matte finish, separation, water soluble

Who: Anyone; a natural for short hair; won’t overwhelm fine hair; perfect for highly textural cuts

When: Anytime; after Prep or Tonic Lotion, (wait until dry) before styling

How: Spread a dime-sized dab or two onto palms and work through barely damp or dry hair with fingers and style. Work quickly and try not to overwork; spray down with Tonic (or Gloss) to rework or to cut hold.
